This position will be supporting the Pritikin Intensive Cardiac Rehab Program, Pulmonary Rehab, and Vascular Rehab.

Job Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process.
The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice/nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing.
The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.
Hours:
2-3 days per week, to include a mix of 10-hour shifts from 6:45am-5:15pm on Mon, Wed, Fri AND 7-hour shifts from 8:45am-4:15pm on Tues, Thurs for a total of 24 hours per week. No weekends - No call - No major holidays!
Additional hours would also be available throughout the department and/or system, if desired.
Job Requirements:
Education: Minimum of ASN required or RN Diploma required; BSN or MSN preferred.
Licensure: RN licensure required. BLS within 90 days of hire. ACLS within 1 year
Experience: Previous experience working as an RN in a hospital setting is required. Telemetry, pulmonary, and/or cardiac rehab experience is preferred.

Women's Care - Perinatal departments; NRP within 6 months of hire. Inpatient Pediatrics. PALS within 6 months of hire. All Direct Care RN's required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.
