Valiant Integrated Services is seeking a certified Senior Administrator/Operations Engineer to join its support effort within Army Future Command's Future Concepts Center (FCC). You will be responsible for assisting other technical personnel with the technical administration of Windows and Linux computers along with Cisco network devices. Additionally, you will perform a major role in modernizing FCC's simulation environment by migrating processes towards a CI/CD-like process and cloud-hosting. Duty location is Ft Eustis, Virginia. We currently offer a hybrid work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• The BLCSE is a distributed and collaborative modeling and simulation (M&S) environment that enables Concept and Capabilities Development across the Army's Future Force Modernization Enterprise.
• Currently connects over 20 sites, operating at up to the SECRET classification level, on a closed, restricted, encrypted network established on the Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN). The Eustis lab is a hub node. Networking responsibilities include managing a local area network.
• Modernization efforts - the BLCSE Mission Support Contract Team is the leading the enterprise's efforts to migrate applications to AFC-MADE (i.e., Azure Gov Cloud) and reimagine how cloud services can improve effectiveness and increase value for the community. The incumbent is expected to lead and be the member of a small technical team, responsible for project and program progress and the delivery of outcomes. The incumbent will be a professional expected to exercise professional initiative in coordination with others. The incumbent will have ambition and the desire to learn, grow and improve themselves, others and contribute to the organization.

• Current Secret Security Clearance
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Microsoft Associate-level certification (e.g., Azure Admin., MCSA) or greater
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure resources and services
• Experience with CI/CD and automated deployments (e.g., Powershell, REST APIs, ARM Templates, etc)
• Familiarity with IBM OpenShift
