Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a POTENTIAL opportunity for a civilian Paramedic at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center.

Job Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited Nationally Registered Medical Technician (NREMT) program
• Active BLS certification
• Licensure as required to operate any Emergency Vehicle
• 2 years of recent experience as a Paramedic

Core Duties:

• Provide specialized care utilizing critical care skills and intensive observational monitoring techniques to asses patient condition and provide an advance level of care to all critically ill patients
• Conduct long distance inter0facility critical care patient transfers
• Administer critical care drugs as necessary
• Update documentation systems to record and track patient transfers
