Description

The Vice President will lead a team of business unit leads and senior program managers to support 45+ programs across the company. They will provide the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure operating efficiency.

The Vice President will be part of the executive team and will be engaged in short and long-term strategic planning for the company. The Vice President will bring strong organizational, business development, and project management skills to provide direction for Cydecor's efforts, including operations and capture activities such as assessing technical capabilities and opportunity alignment, facilitating customer visits, forming strategic partnerships with other firms. He will be the operations lead for all recompete efforts and responsible for integrating those with BD.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management to a service organization that mirrors company core values.
  • Supervise and Mentor Business Unit Leads, senior program managers and their task leads across 45+ programs.
  • Responsible for the integration of growth initiatives with Operations to include overseeing the Talent Acquisition department and ensuring open requisition are filled timely and providing reliable metrics reporting.
  • Facilitate and manage the PM operational meeting including ensuring Customer Quality Surveys are completed.
  • Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all ISO 9001 processes internal and external.
  • Responsible for oversight and completion of the growth activities for a market sector from pursuit through award.
  • Collaborate with executives on the business strategy to determine objectives.
  • Maintain and develop key Federal Government customer relationships, engage key stakeholders; and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company's customer base.
  • Develop and track Key Performance Indicators for operational functions.
  • Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 27001 and CMMI-DEV ML3 processes.
  • Provide operational and subject expertise support to the company Bid & Proposal Team.
  • Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, management, or related field required.
  • 10+ years of Program Management with DoD (required) professional services.
  • 3+ years of Program Operations experience with DoD contracts.
  • Flexibility and capability to multitask within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems.
  • High attention to detail and ability to liaison with multiple inter-related departments.
  • Skilled in organizational development, personnel management, budget, and resource development.
  • Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.
  • Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to corporate mission.
  • Excellent written and oral skills.
  • Must possess a Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Current PMP certification is a desired plus.
